My elderly mother has, in recent years, been repeatedly struck by quite persistent and severe UTIs which ultimately triggered a mild seizure last year. Despite repeatedly being put on strong (and then long-term low dose) combinations of antibiotics by the hospital and her doctors, they were failing to clear up the infection. After a bit of research and discovering that this product (well, a specific standardised pharmaceutical version) is used in routine medical practice in Italy for treating UTIs without having to use antibiotics (which, of course, also mess up our 'good' bacteria), I scoured the UK for a supplier and found these guys. Anyway, after just TWO DAYS on 250mg (125mg twice/day) of this cranberry extract, all her UTI symptoms completely vanished for the first time in around 5 years! It was honestly a pretty miraculous effect and has been a real lifesaver. After 1 full week on the 250mg dose, we slowly titrated her off - 125mg for the next week, 60mg for the third week, then off. Now, she continues to use this as a prophylactic - once per month she will run a single week at 125mg/day. Some people run it at around that dose year round (prophylactically), but so far this protocol has worked wonders for her and she's not had any UTI symptoms in about a year. So: fantastic product and, given the fact it so clearly and demonstrably worked, I'd say there's a genuinely high concentration of anthocyandins, as stated.
