|How||MSM can be taken by adding the recommended dose to drinks such as water or fruit juice, or by placing the recommended dose into empty capsules and swallowed. Can also be applied to the skin when contained within medicinal or topical creams, gels and ointments.|

|Dosage||It is recommended 500 mg of MSM Supplements can be taken up to 3 times per day, or up to 3 grams twice daily is effective. There is no official RDA.|
|Side Effects||In some people MSM Supplements might cause nausea, diarrhoea, bloating, fatigue, headache, insomnia, itching, or worsening of allergy symptoms. There are no known serious side effects.|
