|How||Potassium Gluconate can be taken by adding the recommended dose to drinks such as protein shakes or water, or by placing the recommended dose into empty capsules and swallowed.|
|When||We recommend taking Potassium Gluconate with food, or just after eating.|
|Dosage||Adults and teenagers - 20 milliequivalents (mEq) mixed into one-half glass of cold water or juice, taken two to four times a day. However, most people will not take more than 100 mEq a day.|
|Side Effects||High doses of Potassium Gluconate may cause upset stomach, nausea, vomiting, gas or diarrhoea.|
